Made by the same studio as Peppa Pig, Ben & Holly trades the playgroup for a fairy kingdom and quietly doubles the wit. The rhythm is familiar and calm, the magic goes charmingly wrong, and the Wise Old Elf suffers so the rest of us can laugh. A lovely bridge for children just outgrowing Peppa.

Is Ben & Holly like Peppa Pig?
Same makers, same gentle pacing, same visual warmth, but pitched a touch older with more plot and more jokes aimed over small heads. In our data it scores similarly calm to Peppa while holding children a year or two longer.
Is the magic ever scary?
Very rarely. The peril is pantomime-level and our reviews flag the couple of episodes with mild moments (getting lost, the odd monster) for the youngest viewers. The overall shelf scores comfortably in the safe, low-intensity range.
