Complete the Colourblocks colour wheel
Twenty-one educational minutes turn colour relationships into a game younger children can see, predict and finish.

Colourblocks makes the colour wheel into a challenge rather than a chart, giving four- to seven-year-olds an active route into colour learning. The twenty-one-minute programme is exceptionally educational, neutral in energy and moderately sensory, with no fear or commercial pressure. Ten- and eleven-year-olds should avoid it because the treatment is too young. The assessed sensory fit includes children who seek input and those who avoid it. The runtime is generous, so a child can complete one section without the household treating the entire wheel as compulsory.

Scores measure how reliably this video moves a child toward a settled, regulated state. In the Piko app, kids tell us their weather and we do the matching automatically.
Which kids will love it?
Why it works
A wheel makes relationships visible: colours sit beside, opposite or between one another for reasons children can explore. Questions and reveals encourage prediction, while the characters keep an abstract system approachable. Explorers gain the strongest fit, dreamers enjoy the colour world and companions receive friendly guidance. The programme can lead directly into sorting pencils, mixing paint or arranging objects, which gives screen learning somewhere concrete to go. Stopping before the end does not make the wheel fall off.
When to reach for it
- Before colour play Continue one relationship with pencils, paint or objects.
- For an early-years lesson Pause before answers and invite a prediction.
- As a split programme Use activity boundaries as natural stopping points.
