No, this one is built for children already working with coordinates and algebra, roughly nine to eleven years old. A seven-year-old won't yet have the grounding in axes and equations to follow slope-intercept form, so it's better saved for a few years down the line.
Does this teach UK-style algebra (y = mx + c) or US-style (y = mx + b)?
The teacher uses the American convention, writing the equation as y = mx + b rather than the UK's y = mx + c. The maths itself, plotting a y-intercept and then applying the slope, is identical, so it's still useful for a UK pupil. Just be ready to swap the letter if your child's school uses c.
