Fifteen seconds of server in-joke, and the name you will now hear all week
A tiny multiplayer clip built entirely around a pet with a deliberately ridiculous name.

This is a snack, not a meal. Fifteen seconds inside a multiplayer Minecraft session, players talking over each other, and a gag resting completely on the daft name somebody gave a new pet. There is no lesson in it and it never pretends there is. The mood is calm enough, the audio is rough round the edges, and it ends before anything can build. What you should brace for is the name itself, repeated at the table, in the bath, and to your mother-in-law (sorry about that). Whether that is funny or wearing depends on the week you are having.
At a glance
Will it actually calm them down?
Scores measure how reliably this video moves a child toward a settled, regulated state. In the Piko app, kids tell us their weather and we do the matching automatically.
Which kids will love it?
Why it works
Very short clips have one real virtue: they are easy to stop after. This one delivers its punchline and finishes, so there is no cliffhanger tugging a child into the next thing, which matters more than the joke does. The humour is the ordinary silly-name sort rather than anything sharper. Do not expect any of it to stick, though. Nothing here is trying to teach, and a child who has never played on a faction server will simply blink at it.
When to reach for it
- One more, then off Finishes fast and cleanly, which makes it a fair last video of the evening.
- Two children, one screen Over so quickly that nobody has to negotiate whose turn comes next.
- Wondering about multiplayer A small window onto what talking to other players in a game sounds like.

Questions parents ask
Is the pet's name rude?
It is scatological in the way playground names always are, built around the word poopy, and it is silly rather than nasty. If that word is currently banned in your house, give this one a miss.
Can you hear other players talking?
Yes, there is chatter between them and the sound is a little muddy. Nothing said in it raised a concern when we watched, but it is a reminder that multiplayer means other people.
Fifteen seconds, honestly, what is the point?
Sometimes the point is that it ends. A clip this size gives a child a laugh and hands the room straight back to you, which is more than a twenty-minute video will ever do.
